Ruger has a new best friend! Megan tries to sneak him extra snacks... we always say...
"just one Megan!"
PEBBLES goes camping!
Last Friday we took Megan out on our yearly camping trip! We dressed her up in her costume and toted her around the campground. There were several rednecks all dressed up... even their pets dressed up too. It was nice... no doorbells... and lots of fun. She loves it outside!
She went nuts for the playground. It was a lot of fun watching her explore everywhere. We really need to do this more often. It was nice having a family camp out.
"Look who showed up" Jen, Joel and Evan finally made it! It was getting dark... and the little guy never made it into his costume. We decided to get them dressed up again the next day for a few pics. We all went back down to the playground and springs with the kids... put them to bed... and then enjoyed a grown up meal just the four of us! It was a great night. The weather was perfect for our first experience with "Steak on a Stick". Thanks for the new dinning experience Searby's... it was awesome.
Chris and Renae joined us on Saturday morning! It was such a beautiful day. It is nice getting away... and the Gator game makes it even more exciting. Jen says this isn't "real camping" but who misses a football game? Not us... we made the tailgate setup! We started this tradition about 5 years ago... tailgating and camping are a great combo. (Especially with friends)
There were so many Manatees. They were actually really exciting to watch... considering all they do is breath. Not very active creatures are they? It was neat to see there are so many of them... they are really making a comeback!

Looks like you guys had a great time. The kids looked so cute in their costumes. Thanks for the update.

Great post Kelly! Does this mean I don't have to do one?
Those are some scrawny deer! Kevin needs to come up here and get some corn fed deer if he wants a real one! We saw a buck on the interstate the other day that had a rack on him! Was just glad he didn't decided to come bounding onto the road while we went by.
