"Girls weekend" Annual Mother/Daughter Scrapbooking Trip!

"Discovering waves"

Gammie and I took Megan over a day early... to have some quiet time on the beach. It was so cold... but really cozy with sweats on. Megan loved squeaking her shoes along the sand.

She... of coarse... loved the BUBBLES the waves made. She didn't however understand that more waves were coming. She just about got wiped out!!!!

She ended up packing her pockets with shells... which she referred to as ROCKS.

Megan was with us for Wed. and Thurs. night... and then got picked up on Fri. morning so that the big girls could have a mother/daughter scrapbook weekend. It was fun bringing her over... she is so much fun to hang out with.

The sunrise was awesome... everyday!!!! I took pictures each morning... for those who didn't wake up in time to watch it. The condo we stayed at was right on the beach. I was literally scrapbooking while checking out this beautiful view of the beach.

Merry Christmas 2008

Megan got so many great gifts this year! This is one of her favorites. Uncle Kyle and Jessica got her an outdoor playhouse. Kev had to climb inside to put it together. She loves to ring the doorbell.

"Thanks for the fun stuff everyone!"

Cookie baking...

Megan got her very own homemade apron this year. She loves the kitchen!

Camera shy...

Hmmm... yummy!

Kevin, Gammie, and I took Megan to see the Christmas lights at the duck pond! She loves lights! She kept waving bye bye lights!

Megan's first 4 wheeler... we ordered a new battery for the great hand-me-down. Megan calls it her "truck"

We stopped by the cemetery on Christmas Eve to let Megan say Merry Christmas to her pop! I wish Dad were here... but he is always with us in our thoughts.

I must admit... I ate the nilla waffers... and poured the milk back in the carton.

Megan loves all of her fake/ play food! She was really excited when she got the entire kitchen to go with it!

It was tough to pull her away from this!

We popped up to North Carolina for a few days between Christmas and the New Year!

New Years fondue night was insane!!! The cheese and apples were the best!

Quick photo op before everybody overate!

Livy even ate a plate full too!

Samuel munched on the play food from Megan's kitchen.

I didn't go far from the cheese pot! Meanwhile... the seafood and steak was being inhaled!

I saved room for the desert trays! MMMmmm... it was painful... but worth every bite!

The boys saved a little room too!

Well... the craziness has settled down. We are getting started on a great new year! Megan loves playing with her new toys... and recently discovered she likes to color! It's fun watching her find new interests!
