Gator Homecoming / Around the house at 3 months

It's been a busy month! The kids have been SOOOOO much fun! Megan is at a great stage... loving her baby brother, getting so verbal, and discovering so many new things.
We've really been packing in all the excitement we can before I head back to work in a week and a half.
Megan's most recent interests and sayings:
Choo Choo Trains
"I do it, Megan do it, I-a do it myself"
"A match!" (matching colors or objects)
Her most recent match last night caught me off gaurd... when we were looking at her new air mattress sleeping bag bed... it has princesses on it... and she pointed down at her "girl parts" and said "A match"... I was thrown off for a while until I cracked up laughing because I realized that under her footy pj's she was wearing a pink princess pull up! Hehe... the girl doesn't miss a thing!
Trying to load and unload the DVD player
Going in to use the big potty all by herself... #1 and #2
"no I-a pick"
"Megan have the whole box"
Playing at the park ("I share with the kids")
Playing dress up... putting on Mommy's clothes, shoes, and even baby Jacob's too... which don't fit.
"Oh... that's cute"
"that's silly"
"Megan make a trade"
and... unfortunately... trying to feed her baby doll... (like Mommy feeds Jacob)
and... my least favorite... OBSESSIVE hand washing!!!! (all about soap and lotion)

Emberessing:
Wednesday night when we were out to dinner... she was going into the bathroom... and as a lady came out of the stall next to her... she pointed and said very loudly... HER POOPED!

Megan loves it when Jacob is alert and plays with her. She likes to show him new things... and thinks its hysterical when he watches tv and smiles!
She was showing him all the toys on the activity mat... Pig, Dog, Cat...
tough to believe how big she is getting!

Jacob is 3 Months old!!!!!
(Megan says he's praying when he crosses his hands like this)
Blue eyed... Bright eyed... Boy!

We couldn't ask for a sweeter baby! Holy smokes he is such a good boy. He is such a go with the flow kid. Eats good, plays good, snuggles good, and SLEEPS good!!! These 3 months have gone by so fast... but I really feel like we've had so much quality time together.
Jake's latest:
smiling a lot
longer awake time
eats every 2.5-3 hours during daytime
sleeps 7-9 hours straight at night (generally 9pm-6:30 am)
Loves his baby K'tan Mommy carries him in.

"Hmmm... what should I do new today?"

2009 Gator Homecoming Parade
(a last minute decision turned out to be a great afternoon)
Sunny day, happy kids, and lots of big trucks!

(Mommy, Jacob, Megan, Evan, and Jen)

Megan kept saying...
"Megan go to Go Gators house"
(which she thinks the swamp is Albert the Alligator's house)

"A- Match"

... Evan loved the big trucks!

... Megan cheering on the band!

Check out little Jake chillin' out in the chair back there!
We had a perfect spot to watch the parade!

Jake loved being outside!
He just hung out behind us in the chair... under the umbrella)

... Jen lovin' on Evan!

"That's silly!"

... dancin' to the music!

Later that night... Kevin and I took Jake to Gator Growl... while B-Pa stayed home to play with Megan. She got to go last year... and B-Pa was nice enough to babysit so Kevin and I could enjoy the homecoming weekend together with our BOY!

Jake's first tailgate!
(He got to go to his first football game on his 12 week birthday!)

It was chilly!

... smiling at Daddy!

Baby Gator Chomp... taking our boy into the stadium for his first football game!

... aunt Stephie!

He did awesome at the game... slept some, ate some, smiled some, and watched some too!

... too busy watching the game to look at the camera son?
(already taking after your Daddy on that one)

GREAT WEEKEND!
Mommy is tired now!!!!!!
